A quiet night, a stack of books, a tuna melt on rye

I watched this today and liked the idea, but I don't Vlog (and try to avoid saying that word 'cause really?!), so I thought I would adapt to for the lj. And by adapt it I mean the not terribly intensive typing my answers out.
( 10 things I would say to my 16 year old self )

SMR was trying to come up with a new career at work on Friday, her stipulation being that it had to be something that fulfill her  need to people please.  So, we discussed thing which make people happy.  My personal list:

1.    Witty Dialog
2.    Vanilla Fudge
3.    Jive (or swing in a pinch)
4.    Floaty-skirts
5.    Soaring songs with lots of character in an alto/mezzo-type range
6.    Black and White photographs with a single colorized item
7.    Screwball comedies (see #1)
8.    Honey roasted carrots
9.    Small fuzzy critters (especially if they can belong to me, which rarely happens)
10.  Being indoors with bright, warm lights on a rainy day

Wildlife I have seen on the Job:

1. Wild Pig
2. Owl
3. Rabbit
4. Baby Dear (almost stepped on)
5. Lizard
6. Snakes (various including rat, cottonmouth, copperhead, and garter)
7. Banana Spider (which certain crew-mates felt the need to feed)
8. Assorted other insects
9. Buzzard

Wildlife I expected to see on the job yet have not:

1. Squirrel

1. White mouse

I have developed a new obsession.  Since they canceled Veronica Mars, my tuesdays became wide open.  I had long been avoiding House because I knew obsession would follow.  Oh, my love is great...

1.  Snark - Arynne first sold me on the path to this show with the words "He's snarky and you are the Mistress of Snark, there will be much love."  Arynne is quite an insightful individual.
   
2. I have a name sake (see icon).  One who I like and is not Benny's wife commonly called Muffy. 
   
3. It reminds me of home.  Persistive Vegetative State Guy asks for a hoagie when he wakes up.  People look at me funny when I ask for a hoagie.  Also PVSG lived in the same town as my Grandmother. 
   
4. They showed a bag from the Princeton Record Exchange.  That place was the best part of going to choir camp (or as they liked to call it The Westminster Choir College Summer Vocal Institute for High School Musicians).  Yes, I was enough of a dork to go to choir camp for two summers in a row.  Yes I still have the Linda Eder CD's that I bought from the Princeton Record Exchange.  Really, where else can you walk in and get used Linda Eder.  Just saying.
