pinksoniaI got to spend the weekend with my fur-nephew Nibs.
He seems to be going for some sort of neediest-cat-ever award. Every time you leave the room, he makes plaintive little meows until you come back. Then as soon as you are back in the room, he comes over to sit on you, just to make sure you don't leave again. Really, there should not be abandonment issues over a long weekend.
Also, from work today, I really want to know what office our HR person is working it. We have a field crew person who wants to come in early tomorrow to make up some time from an over heated car today. She was worried about being able to get in the building, and instead of suggesting any of the people who actually arrive early every day (I get there between 6:55 and 7:00 and am not usually the first person there), the HR lady directed her to talk to someone who habitually gets there after this girl wanted to show up, and works on the other side of the building so wouldn't be unlikely to notice that she needed to get in. Grrr.
