Pictures as promised

First off, a picture from the prom party...

My face is sort of glowing red (the right most person), mostly the friend of a friend doing makeup liked how the gold blush she used looked and proceeded to brush it all over my face.  As soon as she did so, every one in the room burst out laughing.  Even washing off most of it, I looked like I had over used the self tanner. 

Then some knitting projects

Fingerless gloves with yarn left over from a pair of socks.  I love making fingerless gloves but rarely ever wear them.  I think I may take these into the office where it is always freezing because for some reason New Orleans needs to make up for the lack of cold in the winter by making the indoors around 50 degrees all summer.  I'm rarely in the office, but I might as well keep warm while I am there. 

A geeky scarf from a fandom I'm not involved in.  I'm trading with a friend.  He's supposed to paint some miniatures for me, and in return, he wanted a knitted scarf with the symbol of his Warhammer army (space marines?).  I'm rather proud of the color work as it is only my second attempt.

The dress looked lovely. And I liked the collar you used on the gloves.

And don't you love gold blush? (hehe). I use a bronzer when I wear make-up, but I use it moderately. I just use it to give my pale face some color.
