Avenue Q
01.  I am a huge fan of musical theater and like to keep on top of new musicals as they come out.  I kept hearing the name of this show around and checked it out in iTunes.  All I had to do was read the name of the songs to know that I was going to love this show. 
02. I don't even know if this show has a fandom.  Do people write fic and obsess like they do with Wicked?  I get this image of shipper wars between the Princeton/Kate and Trekkie Monster/Kate factions.  Now I kind of want to see that. 
03."There's a Fine, Fine Line" and "I Wish I Could Go Back to College" are my favorite songs, but over half of the songs from the show get 5 stars in my iTunes.
04.  No, I don't even know if there is a fandom.
05.  I use this show all the time when I people who don't necessarily like musical theater need to listen my musical.  Even people who don't like the genre find the show funny. 

Gilmore Girls
01. Gilmore Girls is one of the few shows that I've just stumbled upon.  I found it when looking for some background noise while I was writing a paper in high school.  It was some episode towards the end of the first season.  I like the show well enough to come back for the rest of the season and the next year.  I swear that my mother is Emily Gilmore. 
02.  This is also one of the few shows where I left fandom (and the show) while the source material was still airing.  I lasted through the season where Rori joins the DAR and then I had to quit. 
03.  Bracebridge Diner.  And really almost all of the first three or four seasons.
04.  I didn't really do anything in this fandom, but this was the first time I tried.  I participated in a few discussions on the yahoo! mailing list and even applied to be an episode re-capper, but I wasn't chosen. 
05.  I've always wanted to use Gilmore Girls to explain allusions to a high school English class. 

West Wing
01.  "The American President" has long been one of my favorite movies, so when I saw the creator was making a television series about the white house I knew I had to check it out.  I watched the first couple episodes and hated it.  Fast forward six years.  I came home from college one years to find that my parents had found the West Wing reruns on Bravo.  Every night they would sit down and watch two.  I watched a couple with them and revised my earlier opinion. 
02.  I never thought I would leave this fandom but I have to admit that I don't really do much with it anymore.  I'm reminded of the show itself all the time.  Other people relate everything to Seinfeld or the Simpsons -- I relate everything to the West Wing. 
03.  So Many.  A Proportional Response, The Crackpots and These Women, In Excelsis Deo, And It's Surely to Their Credit, Galileo, Shibboleth, Somebody;s Going to Emergency, Somebody's Going to Jail, Two Cathedrals, Issac and Ishmeal, and many more.

05.  Yes.  Every one should get into this fandom and this show.  Watch it, watch it now!!!
