Gift Ideas? or the difficulties of being a family black sheep.

Does anybody know what the fashionable, college-aged girls are enjoying now?  Wow, do I sound like an old woman there, but I need to figure out a present to get for my cousin.  Geek culture I can do, and do well, but gifts for normals I have no idea. 

From what I can tell she likes to drink and exercise.  I'm not sure I want to touch the drinking after this conversation at thanksgiving between her and a neighbor and friend of her parents.

Neighbor: (after various parts of a conversation I don't really remember) I enjoy Stella.
Cousin: I've gotten over Stella.  It's like the Budweiser of Europe, and after spending three months there this summer, I can't take it seriously any longer.  (emphasis hers)
Me: *massive eye roll*

My favorite part is, that judging by the neighborhood her parents live in and the kind of friends they keep, I would bet the man she was talking to has spent significantly more time in Europe than three months.  That and I have a hard time imagining being that rude to a friend of my parents.

I can attempt to be of some help...I can be normal sometimes (though I would much rather have a prince caspian DVD then something like a nice shot glass lol).

Does she have an ipod? Maybe you can get her one of those arm bands that people wear when they run for their ipod. Seriously, with that kind of stuff just go to the apple store and they have about a million "accessories" for the ipod, it really helps.

They have these little like ID holders at like urban outfitters or like any places that sell purse like things that I know a lot of my friends have for when they go to the bar so that they don't have to take a purse?
If you need more ideas, I'm sure I can come up with something else. ahha.

Thanks for the suggestions! I'd be surprised if she didn't have an ipod, so I'll see if I can get my mother to figure out what size. I remember those little id holders. I always jsut stick my id in my back pocket, but I suppose that doesn't work if you wear a little tiny sundress like I see so many people in.
