Creeks and Helpers

We had to cross a creek to the area we were surveying today. I was fine when we began, a little deep and wide, but I jumped across without getting wet. However, when we were finished surveying and had to jump back across the creek had swelled. It was suddenly too wide to jump across and around 3 ft deep at the deepest. Chief went first, into the shallower water which was up to his shins and then jumped across and made it. I tried to do the same maneuver, but alas my legs were not long enough and I face planted. I got wet all the way up to my chest including the cell phone which I had moved to my shirt pocket to avoid getting wet. Not pleased.
On the other hand, I finally uploaded the picture of my archaeological helpers from the other day.
They weren't too helpful -- much more interested in resting their heads on the paperwork and trying to get me to rub their bellies.
