Found: the tin man

Fair warning: this entry contains nothing but fluff. 

Today we found the tin man's head in a field.  Unfortunately I don't have a picture because I didn't have a camera with me.  I'm constantly trying to decide if I should bring my camera in to the field.  There are often things I would life to take pictures of, but I'm sure that as soon as I bring the camera, I will fall into a creek and ruin it.

Hey! I bought a waterproof box for my camera from REI (mostly for kayakers and such). It was like 7 bucks and fits a mid size digital perfectly. Maybe some town you're in will have something like it. I gotta find it, cuz i really want some field pictures too.

I think just seeing the head might have freaked me out a little bit. Sounds like an interesting find to me though.

Your best bet is just to carry a cel with a camera. It is handy and ready together with the phone.

I agree with the others, you should take a camera with you. I would definitely love to see some things from your work.
