Well, I'm glad I'm not on the crew in Florida. They've all been stuck in the hotel without power while a storm rages outside. I'm all about avoiding the tornadoes.
I know you must get this a lot, but I find it endlessly cool that you're an archaeologist. And I'm impressed that you have the dedication and patience for fieldwork, because I sure as hell don't. Excuse my nosiness, but do you have any specialties or areas of study you want to pursue? I'm very curious.

I like historical archaeology much more that prehistoric. I would like to work more industrial revolution era sites. Not necessarily industrial sites (if I never have to wash slag again it will be too soon.) but private spaces from the same time. My ultimate would be to look at company towns and possibly strike sites, though I'm not sure what would be left in that instance. Mostly I want to indulge my reformist tendencies.
