Wolverine?

This one was kind of hard. I guess I've been out of this fandom for longer than I realized. Oops.

Why I like them: I love that his mutant power combined with his memory loss means that he could be any age whatsoever. I really love to think of him a super old, one of the very first mutants.
Why I don’t: Mostly I just find him sort of boring and over rated, I don't have any active dislike.
Favorite episode (scene if movie, book, manga, etc) Actually probably his very first scene, the bar cage match.
Favorite season/movie/book/volume The first movie.
Favorite line: "What do they call you? Wheels?"
OTP Wolverine/Jean (but really only because it opens the way for my favorite movie!verse ship of Scott/Marie.) I did spend a brief time in the Logan/Marie camp.

Head Canon: I suppose the above that Wolverine is much older than anyone realizes
Unpopular opinion: Probably that I don't think he is the greatest member of the X-Men to ever exist and I don't really need to see him in his own movies.

HERMIONE

Why I like them: I love smart people. I love smart people who don't feel the need to apologize for being smart. There is also my way over identification with Hermione (not gonna lie, I get a little sad every month at stamping when people bemoan their Hermione stamps, just a little, until I remind myself that everyones reaction is equally valid and not a reflection on me).
Why I don’t: I don't think there is anything I don't like about Hermione (except I guess having the poor judgement to marry into the Weasley family).
Favorite episode (scene if movie, book, manga, etc) ALL OF THEM
Favorite season/movie/book/volume: Again ALL OF THEM
Favorite line: I always enjoyed her telling Harry that Snape describing the Dark Arts sounded just like him.
OTP: I read the most Hermione/Snape[/Lucius or /Lupin] (smart people being smart…together) but really I'm down for most not!Weasley ships

Unpopular opinion: Well judging from the stamping cheat sheet, the fact that there is no way that Hermione is an extrovert. Also, in the HiH discussion we had for her birthday, I was super confused when someone described her as the popular girl (in reference to Goofy-Nobody-Ron getting the popular girl, 'cause I've always read that as the other way around, if anyone in the Trio was truly popular with their peers in was Ron [he's also the only one I read as an extrovert])

Why I like them: Comic relief. Also, as much as I probably wouldn't admit it he was a real person I grew up with George does fit into my enjoyment of smart people. In terms of pranksters, I much prefer the Twins to the Marauders since their jokes never seem to have malicious intent behind them (except I guess feeding Dudley the ton tongue toffee).
Why I don’t: Again if this was a real person I knew, the practical joking would drive me nuts.
Favorite episode (scene if movie, book, manga, etc): For scene probably giving Harry the Marauder's map. I love that they (and anyone really talk about George without Fred) made what had to be a pretty big sacrifice to their mischief making for someone who they new but not really that well.
Favorite season/movie/book/volume: Deathly Hallows mostly for the next question.
Favorite line: The You-No-Poo advertisement.
OTP: Can't say I have one. I'm fine with anything that is not George/Hermione (and that is only because it breaks my rule of Hermione not being a Weasley)
Brotp: Like there could be another Fred&George.
Head Canon: I like to think that George was on the front lines of re-intergrating Percy into the family after the war. He doesn't want to lose another brother and the focusing on someone else allows him to focus on something else long enough to heal.
Unpopular opinion - Probably that George (or the twins in general) don't break my top 10 of characters. Also not specifically about George, but I feel like my unpopular opinion for the Harry Potter series in general is that the Weasleys neither remind me of my family nor do I wish my family was more like them.
A wish: It is hard to make wishes for cannons which are complete.
An oh-god-please-don't-ever-happen: Again, anything that was going to happen has happened.

Severus Snape

Why I like them: Because along with Mr. Darcy he is the character I've most often seen given as an example of an INTJ personality (also a Capricorn). Since I am an INTJ (again also a Capricorn), I feel like I identify with parts of the character more than I probably should and in ways that I have difficultly expressing (a fact anyone who has read one of my stamping apps can probably attest to.) Then there is always the fact that Snape is another character who falls under my general love of smart people sitting around being smart. But really the INTJ thing, we need more literary representation.
Why I don’t: Cause he's an ass. In general I find that I hate Snape when I read things from Harry's point of view (namely the books) and enjoy Snape when I read things written from his point of view. It tends to be come down to the line between being abusive towards children and being on the snarky end of not suffering fools gladly (so how much is Harry exaggerating in his head?).
Favorite episode (scene if movie, book, manga, etc): Er, Killing Dumbledore and his flight from Hogwarts
Favorite season/movie/book/volume: can there be one other than HBP?
Favorite line: Anything along the lines of "Oh, very good," interrupted Snape, his lip curling. "Yes, it is easy to see that nearly six years of magical education have not been wasted on you, Potter. 'Ghosts are transparent.'"
OTP: Severus/Hermione (again, smart people being smart together) or Snape/Lupin

Unpopular opinion - Maybe the fact that I don't need to qualify the side of me that likes Snape with "because he is a really good character." That is just not the way I read. I've never been the person reading with a literary eye, but the person reading with an anthropological or historic eye. I've never cared about symbolism, foreshadowing, etc, but about societal mores and norms of the society which produced a book. (er that sort of went off topic).
A wish: I know lots of people want a maurader's era book. If there is one, I would like it to be from Snape's point of view.
An oh-god-please-don't-ever-happen: Lol, Three years ago my answer would have been Snape getting laid -- ever. Oh, how times have changed.

Why I like them: High school nostalgia from the choir/theater set (though truthfully I was probably more of a Tina). I love her passion and drive and it makes me want her to succeed in everything ever.
Why I don’t: Her behavior in much any of the Finchel story lines, but particularly the whole marriage thing from last season.
Favorite episode (scene if movie, book, manga, etc) Sectionals
Favorite season/movie/book/volume: Season 1 (with some supporting roles from Season 2)
Favorite line: "Maybe one of these days you'll find a way to create teachable moments without ruining my life."
OTP: Will/Rachel (but really I'm all about her focusing on her stardom)
Brotp: Kurt&Rachel or Quinn&Rachel or even Blain&Rachel -- I pretty much love it when ever she has friends
Head Canon: Rachel used to have a fake dance friend that she would tell the other kids about in elementary/middle school when she felt left out.
Unpopular opinion: Rachel Berry is my absolute favorite character on glee and I don't care in the slightest that she gets all the solos.
A wish: As much as the dreams deferred plot line is more realistic, I do want Rachel to achieve everything she has set out to do.
