In honor of the start of the fall television season, I thought I would post my tentative tv schedule for this year.  As I can be fan-girly on occasion, though not as much as I would like, there is the possibility that references to these shows may reappear at a later date.  Also, if any of you out there in the great abyss would like to discuss episodes or what-not, that would be cool.  Anyway

Monday
Heroes (9/8c, NBC) - I watched and loved this last year (along with the rest of the world).

Tuesday:
Bones (8/7c, Fox) - Sorry [personal profile] zooropababy looks like I will continue to miss NCIS
House (9/8c, Fox) - This will be the first time in a long while that I will actually watch one network for a whole night.

Wednesday
Pushing Daisies (8/7c, ABC) - My love for Kristen Chenoweth knows no bounds
Gossip Girl (9/8c, CW) - Looks like a guilty pleasure show, so I will be tivoing and watching on the weekends.

Thursday
CSI (9/8c, CBS) - Judging by the stunts they're supposed to pull later in the season, this may get dropped, but I still need to see if Sara lives.

Friday
Friday Night Lights - It's about football, but not.  Really, I've heard wonderful things about this show.

TIVO!!! It counts in the ratings, right? ;-) And Mark Harmon's hot! TIVO!!
That's pretty much the only reason we're watching CSI. I give it a week-to-week lifespan. With Without A Trace back after it on Thursday though? I may end up seeing parts of CSI even if I do give up on it.
I refuse to get into FNL - don't like football, don't like small towns and small town-liness, don't care for Texas.

Sure Tivo counts in the ratings. That's why firefly is still with us despite the time-slot of death. Fox realized that it was the Tivo show with the most number of season passes. Um, yeah.

Mostly FNL comes out of my masochist tendencies. It's this close to being canceled so I need to love it so I can get hurt. Also, I seem to developing a fondness for football, at least at the high school/college level. Though that could just be a fondness for marching bands.

oh. bummer.

Guess I'm not as much of a masochist as I thought I was ;-).
I think it's the marching bands... I hope? ;-)

Definitely the marching bands with maybe a twinge of getting caught up in the excitement of the crowd. I have recently determined that I'm a bit of a Drumline groupie. I can't stand music with no words, but give me a good cadance and I can listen all day. Quads are like the most perfect instrument ever.

So I have to agree with pretty much all of your TV schedule as I just realised today that I really need some sort of cable to catch all of it. And I had totally forgotten Pushing Daisies (speaking of Cheno, have you seen RV - definately one of those guilty pleasure movies but it certainly had its moments)! Anywho - you'll have to let me know next time you're in town and up for doing something:)

No, I haven't seen RV. Apparently I lied, my love for Kristen Chenoweth does know some bounds. Oh well, it is said "Everyone lies."

Baring unforeseen circumstances (like a pipeline proposed pipeline running directly through Chester County. A really large proposed pipeline that the Maryland office can't handle.) I won't be home again until Christmas. Well, maybe Thanksgiving but it doesn't look good.
