Why do I even bother thinking up subject lines?

Today we stopped work early because of freezing rain.  There should not be small balls of ice dropping from the sky in Louisiana!  I don't care what part or time of year it is. I am mighty glad I brought the long underwear -- it looked a little funny in the bag, but here we are digging in the freezing rain.  

It is funny though how people really don't know what to make of the cold weather.  The other day Shreveport closed all the main roads into and out of the city because they might freeze.  Then there's  the weather report.  "We may experience some of what they call flurries."
