AHHHHHHH Auditions
Aug. 31st, 2004 08:11 pmI am the newly elected corresponding secretary for the Gamma Tau chapter of Phi Sigma Pi. Apparenlty I like to punish myself, since this is the position that remained empty because the last people who did it didn't do anything but complain about how awful the job is. My why you should vote for me speech was: "I'm willing to do the job." Since I was the only one, I was voted in.
Then like half and hour ago I auditioned for Green Envy our A Cappella choir. I did so awful. I suck at auditions. When I was going down the scale I kept getting off. I just cannot go down. I did much better going up and overall had about a two and a half octive range (I think) they said my low not was an F (which is very good -- I don't know that was the comment) and my high note was an A. Then I sang "Romancing the Blues" off on of the Linda Eder albums. None of them seemed to know it, so that could be a good thing. Call backs are tomorrow. I'm not planning on getting one, but I guess I will have to look anyway.
