So, denizens of flist-land, has anyone read George Elliot's Mill on the Floss? I was listening to the book-on-tape/radio drama of it today, and I'm wondering whether I missed a section or if it really does end that abruptly.

I read it in college. Which was... a while ago. I'll see if I still have my copy. I don't remember liking the book very much though.
