I'm glad that the monitoring worked for you. A lot of the posts I see are parents talking about keeping their 15-17 year olds away from mentions of sex, which seems unrealistic at best. I can totally see not wanting a younger child freaked out by topics they weren't ready for.

I think my use of the word first was confusing. I meant there was statutory rape in Christy not in Anne of Green Gables. I re-read Green Gables through House of Dreams last year and have been meaning to do the rest for a while.
