Doctor Who
01. Back when I was reading Buffy/Giles fanfic it was a piece of fannon that Giles was a who fan in his childhood.  It made me interested enough in the show that I checked out a VHS from the local library.  When I tried to watch it, my family decided to descend on the family room and make comments about the show, so I don't remember much of that viewing (not even what doctor I ended up with, though I'm pretty sure it was in black and white) and I never rented another.  I did remember the name enough to be excited when I heard the show was coming back in 2005, but being in the US I figured it would be years before I ever saw it.  Then this past I found out sci-fi was showing it.  I Tivoed one of the marathon days and randomly picked an episode to watch: Doomsday.  Now through fandom osmosis I was pretty sure that the companion order went Rose, Martha, Donna and was very confused when Donna showed up at the end of a Rose episode.  At that point I decided to start watching straight through from the beginning.  I have since expanded the definition of beginning and am going back to catch the classic series.

02. While I'm in a fandom I always think I'll be in it forever, but history has shown that I eventually move on.  I do think; however, that this fandom will hold up enough that when I eventually leave I will be-able to revisit and still get enjoyment.

03.  In order of transmission: The Aztecs, The Reign of Terror, The Planet of the Giants, [a whole bunch that I haven't seen, but which I'm sure will become favorites in the future], City of Death, [see last set of brackets], Dalek, The idiots Lantern, Doomsday, Human Nature/Family of Blood (though I would enjoy it even more if David Tennant did this as a movie without the Sci-Fi bits), The Fires of Pompeii, and Turn Left.

04.  I am the worst fandom participator ever, but I think I've done more for this one than any other.  I've been getting into fandom crafting: knitting and costuming.

05. Yes.  I've made friends, family and even co-workers watch it.

Firefly

01.  I got into Buffy late - Like I started watching between the fifth and sixth seasons, so when I saw the ads for Firefly, I knew I had to get in on the ground floor.  I started watching with the first episode and watched each of them as it aired.  At the time, I was on the campus movie committee and had to sell concessions on Friday nights, so I would tape the episode.  I watched the first half before I left, watched the second as soon as I got home, and then rushed over to television without pity for the discussion.

02.  I'm not very much in this fandom proper anymore.  I still love the show, and even discussed it just today with a co-worker who just finished the series.

03. Shindig, Janestown, Out of Gas, Heart of Gold

04.  Nothing

05.  I would still recommend this series to people without hesitation.  I don't know whether or not to recommend the fandom to people as I am no longer in it myself.

Pushing Daisies
01.  I don't remember how I first heard about it, but pushing daisies is another show that I watched from the very beginning.  I loved the bright colors, the narration and humor reminded me of Roald Dahl books, and I was already a fan of Kristen Chenoweth (starting with Your a Good Man Charlie Brown) and Chi McBride (from Boston Public).  I mourned this show when the writer's strike started, yet somehow kept forgetting to watch after the strike ended.

02.  I was never really in fandom proper for this show.  I am very much a fic-reader and I never felt that I needed to go outside the cannon presented as I have with other shows.  I don't know why.

03. I haven't had the chance to really learn these episodes or rewatch them after their initial airings, so I don't really have favorites.

04. Again nothing.

05.  I did actually get a couple of people into this show while it was on.  I wish I could have gotten more.  Again, I'm not sure If I would recommend the fandom since I don't know what is available.
