Yeah, I suppose we don't do a whole lot of walking, at least not in the sub-burbs or country area. Usually, there's a fairly big distance between places you'd want to go, some major road with heavy traffic you'd need to cross, and no sidewalks or places where you can walk safely. In the cities pedestrians are much more common.

I think it is just people being idiots. Last night some teenager felt the need to stick his head out the window of the car he was riding in and bark like a dog at me.
