We did Lady things
First,
glowwormtu's bridal tea went very well. Ten people ended up coming which was a nice number. Really it was just sitting, talking, eating, and a little bit of opening presents -- but that was the point -- a low key afternoon. I was even thanked for the lack of silly games. I also have my dress all sorted, so I just need to get a wrap and it is on the the wedding.

Next, the lack of HPK&CHC (Harry Potter Knit&Crochet House Cup) in April severly down graded the amount of knitting I got done, which was not terribly useful as it corresponded to the beginning of the HP swap on Odd Ducks. But after a bit of a slow start I have finished my first hand made item from my Spoilee, some Gryffindor Quidditch Socks:

The Ravenclaw Crest Bag on the other hand, is going extremely slowly, but then I guess it is only my second project with real color work.

Sort of speaking of the HPK&CHC, I let them sort me where ever this term instead of requesting a house (mostly because they asked for a bunch of astrology and personality type information and I thought it would be interesting). I got put in Hufflepuff, and now I way less excited for this term. I feel kind of stupid about it, because I really felt like I would be happy anywhere, but then I ended up with a really visceral "NOOOO!" reaction. I guess it does kind of confirm that I should get my hybrid re-stamped, since what four? months on it is still not sitting comfortably.
